But inflation, measured by the Denver area consumer price index, is up 27. 4%. And that doesn't fully capture what has happened with housing costs. Home prices in metro Denver are up 104% this decade, with the median price now at $430, 500, and monthly rents are 85% higher, according to an analysis from RentCafe.
